Susanna Philbey, Manager

I have been an active ‘local’ community member and business person in the Copper Coast/Yorke Peninsula, South Australia, for over 35 years.

I am a lateral thinker and a visionary and enjoy expanding my horizons working with all types of interesting people and solving their challenges in life!

My Qualifications –

Life experience in a wide variety of community groups, business and government entities.

I hold –

- Registration with the National Disability Insurance Scheme and Department of Communities and Social Inclusion – Disability services.
- Certificates 3 in Aged Care, Disability and Home and Community Care.
- Certificate 4 in Business – Frontline Management.

My Training –

I have experienced a wide range of training from community development, volunteering, volunteer management, tourism, business and business management, aged and disability care and horticulture.

Volunteering –

I have supported and worked with groups and organisations in the areas of tourism, land care, museums, sporting groups, gardening, business, community radio and rural women. My roles include community support, initiation of groups and organisations, administration, executive roles, information, marketing and technical positions.

Currently a member of –

- Yorke Peninsula SPOKE (networking group for community and health providers).
- Yorke Peninsula Community Transport – Board Member representing the Community.
- Disability Service Providers Networking Group.
